On 28 December 2009, China introduced provisional anti-duping measures against European fastener manufacturers’ imports into China. A duty of 24.6% applies except for Kamax with a 16.8% duty.

Anti-dumping levy on Chinese fasteners
The Chinese are refusing to accept the swingeing import taxes that have been levied on their product since February 2009. The Chinese launched a trade dispute with the World Trade Organisation against the EU at the end of July complaining that the duties imposed on Chinese screws and bolts are discriminatory and protectionist.
